Turtle One and Turtle Two

This is a story about two turtles. One turtle follows all of the rules, while the other turtle would rather ignore the rules and play outside. When it is time to go to dance class, the turtle who follows the rules can go and have fun, while the turtle who didn’t follow the rules has to stay home.

This book is a wonderful opportunity to share with a child who is having difficulty following directions and rules. It helps children realize that it is really up to them to decide how they need to behave. The world gives us so many opportunities, and consequences for our actions. This book with its calm, cool, relaxing colors illustrates the choice each one of us has every day to do what we need to do in life.
